Let Me Just Put It This Way

Extreme joy is not what I’m feeling this morning.

Although I do recognize it could be much worse and am grateful it is not.

I know the feeling. It’s hard to settle back into black and white when you’ve just spent a few days in riotous color.

That’s rather wintry. Hmmm… Could that be why you are feeling joyless this morning? Just a guess, of course.

    but it sure is pretty!!

i was thinking of you when I read about a dog being let out in the snow then refusing to go back into the house. it eventually resulted in the owner finding a neighbor-woman stuck in the snow… she’d been out feeding the birds, fell, and couldn’t get herself back up. if not for the dog, she prob would have frozen to death. so don’t worry about those birds!!
