Colorful Monotones

Still avoiding that dusting thing, I’m going to simply overload you with posts today. This time, it’s Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge. She’s chosen Colorful Monotones – I may have taken a bit of liberty here, but using the definition in the American New Oxford Dictionary – without vividness or variety; dull – here are my choices, all taken during my recent trip:

P1030932

Doesn’t this one look like a face?

  2. Those are perfect monotones! I think that rock does look like a face. And I love all the pale landscapes, especially the one with the cows. 😊

Yep, that does look like a face!! Well spotted!

I think they count as monotones. It doesn’t have to be greyscale, as long as the overall impression is one colour.

This looks like much more fun that dusting. (I am reading while postponing vacuuming, so know just what you mean.) There is something about that landscape which speaks so deeply to me. And faces are always fun to come across. Hope you had a wonderful vacation, Carol. Does it take you a while to settle down after you get home? It often does me.

I saw “Colorful Monotones” and couldn’t wait to see what you were going to show us! And you didn’t disappoint! I love the “face” in the rock….it really does look like a face! And dusting…..what is dusting? 😉 I’d much rather be photographing!
