Quickly, before there’s a new share, I must Share My World with Cee and all of you.
If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work? Truly, I would like someone to clean and do yard work, but if I must choose, I would go with yard work. When we moved here and I was younger and more energetic, I loved spending time in the yard. Now, it’s become more of a chore, so if someone else could do the weeding and raking and clean up, that would be great. Mowing would be a bonus, but I don’t mind that part of the yard work as much as all the rest of it.
If you were to move and your home came fully furnished with everything you ever wanted, list at least three things from your old house you wish to retain? My photo albums, my computer, maybe a few (very few) of the knick-knacky things that hold special memories – but I’d put them in one box, so that would count as only one item. That’s fair, right?
What calms you down? The ocean. Sitting quietly, preferably outside but that only works during warm weather. If I’m really worked up about something about which I’m passionate, spewing out words in a row on my blog.
What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination. This past week, I really appreciated taking the train trip to Portland to meet my Kat, who flew in from Thailand – going out for dinner with her, having that time with no real responsibility. Coming home and having Gep pick us up at the train station, then having the week to spend with both of them. And another week with both of them coming up. For me, that’s more than enough.
I’m so happy you have your family with you this holiday season! That’s absolutely perfect!

Since we have 2 acres, I’d probably opt for someone to take care of the yard work! I’d take care of the flower pots on the patio. π Photo albums would definitely be on the list, along with my computer and external hard drive. And, let’s put them in a BIG box so we can pick more things to take! I’m happy to hear you got to spend time with Gep and Kat. I know that is the most important thing on your wish list. xoxo

Of course it only counts as one item if it all fits in one box! π So glad you had time with family, Carol, and hope all is well with you. Happy New Year.
