Share Your World – 2015 Week 48

On this chill winter day, Cee says we should share some more, so, ever eager to obey (uh huh!) I am sharing.

1. Are you a hugger or a non-hugger? I did not grow up in a hugging family, but now, influenced by friends, I am becoming much more of a hugger. Hugs are good for you, I have read – I know they feel good!

2. What is your favorite toppings on pizza? My favorite pizzas are from Papa Murphy’s (take home and bake) – his Murphy’s Combo which has a little bit of everything on it: Traditional Pizza Sauce | Mozzarella Cheese | Salami | Pepperoni | Italian Sausage | Mushrooms | Onions | Black Olives and his Gourmet Vegetarian: Creamy Garlic Sauce | Spinach | Zucchini | Mushrooms | Marinated Artichoke Hearts | Roma Tomatoes | Onions | Herb & Cheese Blend. Really, as long as it doesn’t have Anchovies, I’m fine.

3. If you were the original designer of one existing corporate logo, which one would you select? Probably’s Apple’s logo – it’s just so simple, so classy.

Complete this sentence: Where I can seek my solace is… Depending on the weather, either my front deck or my morning room. Bird sounds do a lot for my soul. Sometimes with friends or my kids – their love brings so much comfort.

Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up? I am grateful for Thanksgiving with friends, a generous share of leftover turkey, a birthday that made me feel special, the early but successful arrival of my friends’ great granddaughter, with whom I feel privileged to share my birthday. I am looking forward to the return home of those friends and more days of living the life.

My picture-taking has been minimal of late, but yesterday my big furry girls and I took a short Bailey walk, which maybe should have been a little bit shorter because Bailey barely made it back into our yard before she had to lay down and rest.

And there was birthday cake with friends last night. Kind friends – you’ll note only two candles!

  1. Happy birthday, Carol! That cake looks delicious. Hard to believe you have snow already. We just have rain, rain and more rain. Those are a lot of toppings on a pizza; the list of them has made me hungry for lunch. I’m glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I love the two candles! My daughter turned twenty-three on Tuesday, and saying she didn’t like the sound of the age, said she might continue saying she was twenty-two for another year. I reminded her that I was still twenty-two. 😉

I’m a long-time hugger! Human contact can be magical in many cases. My go-to pizza is always Hawaiian pizza with Canadian bacon and pineapple, but I’m good with most anything without mushrooms or anchovies. And, being a designer there’s no way I could limit my logo choice to just one! I want to wish you happy birth day once again and let you know how thankful I am our paths crossed in the blogosphere. I so enjoy your postings and getting to know you better on FB. I wish you much happiness and blessings for many wonderful years ahead. xo
