One Four Challenge – July Week 3

Time again for Robyn’s One Four Challenge.

This week’s version:

Once again I first adjusted levels, then copied the original layer. I applied the Plastic Wrap filter in Photoshop Elements and set the blending mode to – hmm, didn’t write that down and don’t recall right now, copied the original layer again and moved it to the top, then applied the Bas Relief Filter and set the blending mode to Screen.

I tried several other things in between these steps, but this is what I settled on.

  1. Carol — Goodness, gracious, you lost me at “adjusted levels” — I’m so impressed with your technical savvy!

Saw this on FB and was looking forward to seeing it on the “big screen.” Love the final effect. It’s so light and airy-looking. Great job and I hope you are having fun playing around with these settings.

Carol I do love the transitioning layers your edits have created. I’ve never tried the BAS relief, but the Plastic Wrap is quite often surprising. Fun and interesting experiments 😃
