Share Your World – 2015 Week 9

I am so impressed with myself – here it is, the day Cee has issued her challenge to Share Our Worlds and before noon at that! I should not be so impressed as I’m pretty sure you all know that this is just me avoiding doing the things I should be doing.

1. How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are? Good question – don’t know if I could put a specific age on it, but I do know my mind thinks I’m a whole lot younger than I am. Maybe 50 or thereabouts? Some of this, of course, depends on the day and what I’ve been doing, which means how much my body is reminding me that I am the age I am.

2. Are you left or right handed? Right-handed – so right-handed! My left hand is there only to balance things out and to sometimes assist my right hand.

3. If you HAD to change your name, what would you change it to? Alexis? Sarah? Skye? I don’t know but it would be short. I don’t know that I think of me as a name. I think of me as me. Whatever/whoever that might be.

4. Where do you hide junk when people come over? I don’t. Because the junk I have sitting around has usually been where it is long enough I no longer see it – until after someone has been here and is gone. If I know people are coming before they arrive, then I would straighten up whatever piles might be around, rearrange a little so things are less obvious – maybe resort to actually putting things in their proper places. Most of my “junk”, however, is on my desk and rarely do we go into that room anyway. I have little baskets of things I think I might need near places I sit, so it looks relatively organized – this is because I have this “need” to have whatever I think I might want close at hand. Always. Heaven help me if I might have to actually get up and walk a few steps to get something.

Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up? Hmmm. Always I am grateful for each day I get out of bed and can see the world outside my windows. Always I am grateful for my friends and loved ones. I am looking forward to going back to somewhat warmer weather this week and getting a little more yard cleanup done.

The Penobscot Bay Bridge that was being worked on at that time – we were on our way to Bar Harbor, ME when we stopped and it was at this rest stop that we met a very pleasant gentleman with his dog (I was missing Bailey and needed a dog fix) who told us we should follow him to Stonington, Me which was what Bar Harbor used to be. We did.
