A Little More of Nha Trang

On what was December 21st in this part of the world, we saw a bit more of Nha Trang. We walked – a lot – looking for a place Gep had picked to have a massage. We walked, a lot. Finally, we decided our map was not reliable, and hailed a taxi – an easy thing to do here. We arrived – and discovered we could have taken a much more direct route. The massage place was in a mall – Kat and I were happy.

Kat and I shopped, Gep checked the massage place – not what he wanted – we met on the 3rd floor for something cold and hydrating to drink. From here we had a wonderful view.

Gep had found an attraction in his search that appealed to Kat and I, so after we were refreshed we headed off to

have our feet and ankles tickled by little fish.

Then more walking. Walking. Walking. Good exercise, but my feet are complaining. My shoes are apparently not appropriate, they think. We found a beachfront restaurant – a beer garden. We were in need of sustenance, so we went in.

Cheese plate, bread, tomatoes and cucumbers, beer, good conversation

and a view!

One could ask for no more!

I think what it might have been like forty years ago and what I see in your pictures now. It is quite amazing. Glad you are having great time. Bird feeders are low. A bit of snow and gray. Enjoy your lovely warm days.

  5. Carol — Thank you for sharing your photographs, the view is incredible!

  6. Sounds like a lovely day, but I’m sure your feet were hurting after all that walking and “inappropriate shoes.” Oh, how I know that story from my own travels. At least you found the fish to nibble on your feet. That must have made them feel much better. And then of course the sustenance is just what the doctor ordered. 🙂

What a wonderful view! How awesome to share a beer and a little bit of paradise with your family at this time of the year. 🙂

I don’t think I could handle the fish. When the little ones come check me out in the lake, it makes me jumpy. They tickle my toes like nothing else.

I'd love to hear from you!
