Share Your World – 2014 Week 28

I’ve been haphazard about blogging of late, including Cee’s World-Sharing adventures.

1. Have you ever been a participant in a parade? What did you do? I don’t recall ever having been in a parade, but if I were to participate I would like to be the brightest flower in the bouquet carried by the princess.

2. If you were handed free opera tickets, would you go or sell them? Why? I don’t know. I have never been to an opera, but I have a good friend that loves them. I would probably go just to experience it.

3. Why did you start your blog? I originally started my blog when husband and went on a road trip to keep up with family and friends. It replaced emails to each and every person I wanted to keep up with. It has changed since then – I have changed since then – life has changed since then. Now the main reason to blog is to participate in this wonderful bloggy world, to express my thoughts, my feelings, my joys, my frustrations – my life.

4. What is your favorite tradition? (family tradition, church tradition, whatever) My times with my kids – our holiday get-togethers, our summer get-togethers.

Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up? The arrival of my kids for our summer get-together. Spending time with them during this week and the next.

  2. Cee Neuner says:

The beach looks wonderful!!! Thanks for sharing. Yeah, I stay now because blogging is just fun.

  3. Don’t worry about ” haphazard” blogging. I think it is better to wait until you have something to share. I remember when my kids and I concocted makeshift July 4th costumes and walked the streets of Fairhaven MA to where the fort was on the shore. At the end of the parade they fired tge old cannon. Nice memories. .. Enjoy your vacation with your kids.

  9. Kathy says:

Oh~~to be the brightest flower in a parade bouquet in the arms of a princess!–my heart stopped in joy for a moment after reading that line. (Looks like some others felt the same way, too.)

  10. Dawn says:

Oh Carol! Enjoy your kids this summer! So glad they can both make it. You will have so much fun!!

  11. Heather says:

Ha! You think you’ve been lax about this blogging thing! You shoulda seen my stacked up RSS feeds. I kinda stopped blogging because I got so far behind reading, and it doesn’t seem okay just to share all the time and not listen. I’m back with “ears” now, though, hanging around because this blogging business is fun and I enjoy my bloggly buddies 🙂
    PS – I think you’d make a terrific flower.

I'd love to hear from you!
