It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

In this cold, wintery weather, the quail enjoy the seed I’ve tossed on the ground for them

While inside it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas (only took me three days to get the tree decorated)

This blog is coming to you courtesy of High Desert Hospice, who adjusted the dosages of husband’s medication yesterday and had their chaplain, the Soul Whisperer, visit with husband – between the two of those things, he slept well all night and is sleeping still, allowing me a good night’s rest and quiet time this morning. For this, I am more grateful than I can say! I dedicate this post to those wonderful people.

It is a season of enough.

Hospice is a wonderful organization. The group who worked with our family during my father’s illness were so helpful.

I’m happy that you’re both getting rest. What a blessing, though it can seem like a small thing when you’re getting plenty of it. Your tree is lovely. It looks very cheerful and warm. Our cats still dictate that we don’t have a tree. One day…

  9. It seems like many of your followers, including myself, have experience with hospice. They are, indeed angels for what they do. I am glad they can give you enough- enough time to enjoy nature or decorating, enough peace of mind and enough sleep. All the best, Laura.
