Cee, who is a master of memes, has posted the 12th Which Way photo challenge so here I am again, following Cee’s lead, laughing all the way.

My selections this time are all from my trip to Seoul back in 2010.
Inchon Airport in Seoul. Which way to go?
To leave the grounds of the school where Gep was teaching, we go through the gate
Down the hill
Down the street
to the stairs that lead us to
the subway. Which way to go?
To this street with lots of goods available for purchase
And a pizza place – don’t ask me what pizza has to do with loving women! I’m just an observer.
And this place. Recognize it? Of course you do. Starbucks is everywhere!
Looking for lunch – I don’t this this is lunch.
After lunch, we want a latte. We came up these stairs, had our latte, went back down these stairs. We knew which way for a latte.
To another place to shop. Wonderful shopping. Fun things to buy. But don’t crowd ladies who are at the sock table. They don’t like it.
Then home until Gep got off work – aren’t you proud of Kat and I? We managed to do all this touring without assistance. Or much assistance. The Koreans are very helpful when you stand in the subway and look lost. Kat figured out the subway system, I figured out which way to turn to go where we wanted, and my guide book told us how to order wine and beer. Success!
After Gep got home, he took us out for dinner at a Mexican restaurant. What? Where else would one eat when in Asia? Across the street from the restaurant were some very “interesting” places – the juxtaposition of the signs in this photo really struck me.

Wanderings of an Elusive Mind 
Many many years ago, my ex-husband was stationed in Okinawa and occasionally went to Taiwan. I visited him there and while sight-seeing we were waiting for a train. Imagine our surprise when we were approached by a Japanese gentlemen who asked if we could help him find his train. He said he spoke English but Mandarin was “foreign” to him!!!

I am so proud of you! It is super-hard at times to figure out where to go in foreign lands. That was the most challenging part of our trip to Europe. Which way to go? It can be so tricky. Since my daughter-in-law grew up in South Korea, this was an especially informative trip. Thank you, Carol.

Signs that you can’t read aren’t particularly helpful. Even though it was in my native tongue, I experienced this yesterday while hiking. The sign with arrows did not agree with the map. Had to go with intuition.
I would like to shop at the sock table. I think I could find something to go with that bag you just bought.

Such great pictures – every one. My favorite might be the stairs. However, the market is so colorful and alive, it would be hard to choose one. The last one gave me a good giggle 🙂
