Time again for Cee’s questions of the week. She says she thinks these are easier than recent questions, but I’m not certain I’d agree. As always, she is making me think. A tough thing!
1. What one word describes you best? I think I’d have to say pragmatic, although if I weren’t being completely honest, there might be others I would choose. Like maybe adventurous, curious, artistic – the things I’d like to be.
2. If you were to treat yourself to the โfiner thingsโ what would you treat yourself to? On this one, I’d go with Cee. Someone to come in and clean my house, someone to prepare meals. Perhaps someone to do the heavier yard work – dig out the unwanted weeds and grasses in my flower beds, rake up pine needles and pine cones, that kind of thing. Then some trips to places I have not yet picked out. In this instance, I’m viewing “finer things” as meaning I have disposable cash.
3. Is there a language you would like to learn? Interesting that Cee posed this question today – I was just thinking “maybe I should learn a language” this morning. But I don’t know which one is would be – one of the Romance languages, I suspect, in part because I think they would be less difficult.
4. Your favorite blog post that you have written? (feel free to add link) This one I really cannot answer. I have no idea. I started blogging back in 2009, on Blogster at first and those posts are gone now. Then I moved to my self-hosted website using WordPress software, but I don’t remember when exactly that was. My archives go back to January of 2012, but I think that is when I moved to WordPress, so I can’t even tell you how long I’ve been blogging consistently!
Now a few photos, just because.
Less than a week ago, we had a morning of this.
A few days later, we had this morning.
An afternoon when I was outside looking in.
That’s it for today – if spring is not in your outside world, keep it in your heart!
love the answers all quite open as questions I havent done mine yet ,, and great pictures..:)

Great answers again. Pragmatic is a terrific word. I’m not sure it’s what I would have chosen for myself, but probably should, too. One word just isn’t enough.
And be still my heart! Those crocuses are a welcome sight…and one I’ll surely have to wait a couple weeks yet to see in person.

Carol your crocoses are superb. I could just reach out and touch them. Thanks so much for sharing with us again this week!!!

I was about to ask if they are crocuses but I don’t need to now, as I can see Cee has already answered that question. They are so lovely the way they peek out of the ground, a sign that your spring has arrived.
It’s time for me to catch up with all of my blogging friends Carol. Work has kept me otherwise occupied for some weeks now. It’s so good to visit here again and I do hope that you are both keeping well. ๐

Spring is in my heart, if not in this immediate world. Is there any possibility you might hire someone to fulfill your housecleaning/meal wish, at least for a short while?

You have CROCUS??? You must not have chipmunks! We have daffodil nubs…that hopeful.

Dawn, these crocus were planted just a couple of years ago in a bed that has not yet been disturbed by critters. We do have chipmunks – although the Lily keeps the population under control a bit more than I’d like. Is it chipmunks that relocate my crocus? I was kind of blaming voles, of which we have far too many even with Lily’s efforts. I have one daffodil about to pop open – others up a few inches.
