It’s a good thing Cee gives us a week to post our responses to her share your world questions, because sometimes (most times it seems to me) I’m about a week behind in everything. So the week behind in vacuuming will wait while I attempt to answer this week’s questions. You did note the “attempt” right?
1. How do you write: computer, longhand or other? At first when I read this question, I thought to myself “well, it depends – a quick note gets written in longhand. . .”, then I realized Cee didn’t mean “write”, she meant “write”. You know, like creatively writing. I think that’s what she means. In which case, my answer would be computer, because it’s faster than longhand and because I know I’ll be able to decipher the words much more easily later, and because I seem to think better as I type. And because most of my writing creatively would be for blog posts, with some occasionally creative writing in some emails. On a good day. Although those to whom I send emails might disagree with that.
2. Irregardless of your physical fitness, coordination or agility: If you could play any sport professionally what would it be? Or if you canβt picture yourself playing sports, what is your favorite sport? Ice skating. Or swimming. Or archery. Although I love watching people who ride horses well – but no, I don’t think that would be my choice. Maybe reading? I could do that!
3. If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich? Writing. Painting. Photography. Not necessarily in that order.
4. What subject was your favorite in all of your schooling? Why? English. Because I love to play with words. I did take a college course in Business Law once, and I loved it but I think I loved it because the instructor was so dynamic and made the subject zing. My least favorite? Algebra. My brain just doesn’t work that way.
This week, a few photos – a morning a few days ago when the elves had frosted the trees and seedheads overnight and the air was cold so inside was the place to be, enjoying the sun shining in the windows.
My favorite photos are “the bump” and “the peek-a-boo.” [my brain runs from algebra]…

Loved the picture of your cat. That’s where I’d be if I were there.

I used to have very well-developed calluses on the sides of my fingers from pencil use. Now those muscles are so atrophied that my handwriting quickly disintegrates into illegibility…so computer for me, too.
I have a very similar lump sitting to my left. My female cat is convinced she can’t take her requisite daytime nap without being buried under blankets. I don’t try to dissuade her – she desperately needs those naps!

I’ve never thought letters and numbers should be combined in an equation, so Algebra (and higher math) is really not for me! Favorite course? Art and Photography, of course. And I can’t even remember when I “wrote” longhand! Happy Wednesday and stay warm. π

I loved algebra and geometry … words not so much. I just thought of another way people can write … audio tape then transcribe. Don’t know what made me think of that while I was responding to you. Guess you kicked my creative thinking a bit. I adored your answers as always!!!

Hate algebra as well. Took it several times in life. Never any good at it. I thought the first photo was snow until I made it bigger! Way way better than snow, that’s for sure!

I too think that writing by computer is best. At least you can edit what you write without making a big mess. I’m constantly editing everything I write! It looks nice and cozy in your house! That’s where I’d stay if I were you. π
