Sunday Post: Surroundings

It is that time of the week – Jakesprinters Sunday Post challenge – which is, in Jake’s words:

The external circumstances, conditions, and objects that affect existence and development; the environment.

In going through my archives for this theme, I came up with several photos describing my surroundings – perhaps too many but they all called out to be posted.

My surroundings, those that are the most important to me, are my loved ones, family and friends

Although my kids are not always present in my immediate surroundings, they are always present in my heart and memory.

My furry loves are also an important part of my surroundings

And there is my yard, my haven, and the forests around us which survive and exalt in the seasons

About Carol

I'm me - nothing unusual, just me. Widowed, 2 grown children who are my best friends, 1 dog, retired, loving being retired. I am woman, I am strong.

  10. awe Carol so relaxed after viewing your surroundings. I am really taken with the photo of one of your fur baby’s paws. there is something about the image of just those two paws that speak to me. I am unable to put my finger in what it is but the photo to resonated something,

Your surroundings are beautiful, including the images of your home and yard. I especially like though how you have seen your family & friends. Nice touch!
