Weekly Photo Challenge: Renewal

It is time for the Daily Post’s Photo Challenge, which this week is “Renewal”. Cheri says

I think of beginnings. Life. Opportunity. What images does Renewal conjure for you? Get creative. Think beyond the usual images (a sunrise, a birth). We want to see what else you can come up with.

To me, renewal means:

Quiet time in my yard, down by the pond sometimes, listening to the sound of the water flowing from the waterfall and gurgling from the fountain. On a warm day when the fish come up near the top, it is renewing to see them swim about, knowing they survived another winter.

Seeing the pair of eagles in their normal spot, refreshing to see that they are still here, that life goes on for them too.

Late in the day, a glass of wine will renew my spirits, renew my soul during this time of relaxation.

And when my attitude needs renewing, watching my girls brings peace, laughter, warmth – Lily in the sunshine renewing her lovely fur, primping.
