Jakesprinters Sunday Post: Delicious

Jakesprinters challenge for this weekend is Delicious. I decided to rummage through my archives and feature some of the photos of the food we ate while in Seoul and Beijing, which was truly delicious! Well, there may have been an exception or two, we shall see.

20121006-095353.jpgIn Seoul, when Kat and I went wandering while Gep worked, we found Bipimbap – makes my mouth water to think of it now!

20121006-095543.jpgIn Beijing, a variety of delicious dishes, with wonderful beer.

20121006-095626.jpgMore in Beijing, lamb shishkabobs – I wonder if I call in if they’ll deliver?

20121006-095903.jpgBeijing’s Hot Pot – Oh-so delicious things thrown in the hot pot, cooked and savored!

20121006-100059.jpgBeijing again – delicious not! Well, I think not – I wasn’t willing to try it.

Is that rat? We saw some very ‘interesting’ things on skewers in Beijing that we also declined to try. Like cockroaches and spiders…. ugh!

  2. Great “delicious” choices. I wasn’t a big fan of Korean food, but one of the few things I liked was bibimbap! I always love Chinese food, though, especially the lizards and scorpions {kidding}! Great photos, Carol. πŸ™‚

  7. Yummo! My favorite foods. I should have seen this after dinner. I am not sure what I am having is different enough now and I have been craving plum-oyster sauce.

Some delicious and some not so much … great photos too – food is hard to photograph and still look edible.
