Weekly Photo Challenge: Solitary and Jakesprinter Sunday Post: People

Interesting how these two photo challenges came up with topics that are the opposite of one another this week. Because I see a relationship between the two, I have opted to combine them.

First is the Weekly Photo Challenge submission: solitary. My son, viewing the waterfall we set out to see on a summer hike.

I think this is about as solitary as you can get!

Now, to Jakesprinter Sunday Post. People. Lots of people.

These photos were taken in Portland, OR in July of 2011. The first is the Saturday Market, the second and third were taken at the American Idol concert.

There you have it – solitary and people!

Enjoyed how you brought together two dualities–the quality of being solitary, and the quality of being surrounded by people. Very creative!

Oh yes, I see the connection between the two Carol, although the calm of your son looking at the waterfall is far more appealing than the crowds! I can imagine how fabulous the American Idol concert must have been though. I’ve watched each season since the one that Adam Lambert was in. 🙂

As there hasn’t been a new WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge so far this week, perhaps you’d like to join in the Weekly Travel Theme http://wheresmybackpack.com/2012/09/28/travel-theme-foliage/ xxx Ailsa
