I’m a bit behind on this post since Cee posted her questions on Sunday, and here it is now, Tuesday. I have a feeling that’s just how this week is going to be. In any case, here goes:
1. Are you left or right handed? Right-handed. I think my left hand is there simply to help hold on to things, to wear my wedding ring and to avoid the wrist being left alone at the end of the arm, wondering what it did to cause it’s having no appendage. Oh yes, the left hand also is a big help when it comes to typing.
2. What is one thing you love about being an adult? Making my own choices. Although sometimes it might be nice to have someone else do that. Now ask me what I don’t like.
3. What do I need to unlearn? Impatience. Procrastination.
4. What is success for me? Having survived to a ripe old age, being able to get up and walk around by myself, having family and friends who love me as much as I love them.
Disclaimer: photos taken with my iPad.
It is a cloudy, cool morning. A good morning for sleeping in – which Shasta never allows, but I can sometimes squeeze in a few more winks by sprawling in my big comfy recliner after the animals have been let out and then come back in for breakfast. That’s what I did today.
Twiggy has the right idea, although she is laying where I usually put my keyboard and she does complicate my ability to type.
This is what Shasta does after waking me somewhere around 5:30, and after she’s been out and fed. Just not fair, is it?
This is a good day to spend doing nothing – again. A day, like yesterday, when I thought I might get out there and mow the lawn. However – I have friends who love me and will be picking me up at 10:00 to go get coffee. The lawn will wait.
