It’s already Sunday again – where does the time go anyway? There are weeks where I might have no idea what day it is, but we can count on Cee of Cee’s Life Photography Blog to provide the sharing our worlds reminder that it is, indeed, Sunday. This week’s questions are bit more of a challenge than some have been, I think. We’ll see how this goes.
1. If you were having difficulty on an important test and could safely cheat by looking at someone else’s paper, would you do so? I think not. I’m sure I’d be tempted, but I know without a doubt if I try to cheat I will get caught. And I do guilt really well, so it just wouldn’t be worth it.
2. Since adolescence, in what three-year period do you feel you experienced the most personal growth and change? This one is really hard. I think I would have to say during the three years after my divorce from the father of my children – when I was really and truly on my own with two kids to support back in the days when there was a huge difference in the what a female was paid and what a male was paid. I learned I am a survivor, I learned I can do very nearly anything I set my mind to do, I learned that “I am woman, I am strong”.
3. If you could change one thing about your home, what would you like to change? My kitchen. I would get new cabinets, or at least paint the existing cabinets, glass tile as a backsplash, and laminated wood flooring. Unlike all those people looking for homes on HGTV’s House Hunters, I would keep my non-granite countertop, but I would probably trade in my white refrigerator and dishwasher for stainless steel.
4. If you were given a yacht today, what would you name it? Serenity, I think. Then I would take it to a lovely, secluded cove, anchor it and just relax with my loved ones.
I loved how the light was hitting the fountain and the greenery.
I think you like to “come out and play” Carol. I am glad you are a survivor who finds beauty in light and honesty.

I’m with you, I don’t care about granite. Great answers, I sure enjoyed reading them!

I like the yacht idea…a lot! Be sure to get the girls some life jackets. Not sure Lily will want to cooperate. And I raise a glass of wine and say “here’s to Survivors!”

I’m certain Lily would not cooperate. Although she’s pretty interested in water.

We are “kitchen” people too. And while our is by no means fancy, it’s spacious and practical.

Mine is not and does not need to be fancy, but after 12 years it could use a bit of updating.

I love the yacht idea, too. And I’m with you on the non-granite counter tops. What is the fascination with granite?

Cee, Chris, I don’t get the granite countertop thing either. There are so many other options that don’t require nearly as much care.

Tough questions! I’ve always called myself a rule-follower for precisely the reasons you mentioned regarding not cheating on a test. Love the tree face 🙂

Kat created tree faces for 5 or 6 of our trees a few years ago. There are suffering the effects of the elements unfortunately.
