Sharing my World – Week 22

Sunday is always welcomed by Cee and her Share Your World challenge, which is sometimes more of a challenge than others.

1. Which do you prefer sweet or salty? Or both at the same time? It depends – sometimes sweet, sometimes salty, sometimes both. I wonder, but have never bothered to investigate, when we crave one or the other, is it our bodies telling us something is lacking? Physically, I mean.

2. Have you finished/started anything new or creative? Yes. I just finished a sweater/jacket that seemed to take me forever and have started a new stole/shawl/could-become-a-poncho for summer. Photo is at the bottom, because using the WordPress app for the iPad, it seems to like to put the darn photo at the bottom of all text, when the text is inserted first. I took this photo with the iPad to email to a friend, and I have no idea how to rotate it – maybe I should get a photo-editing app. I have also finished/started some jewelry and have supplies for much more. Again, photo at bottom of this post.

3. How do you want to be remembered? I love Cee’s answer, the Patricia Neal quote. In an attempt to be a bit more original, I would like to be remembered with love.

4. Name one thing you wish you could change about yourself. I am far from perfect, and there are things about me that I am not thrilled with, but if I were to change something about myself I would not be who I am, where I am right now and I think I really don’t want to change that. Although there are things in life right now that I would like to change, but there would be that ripple effect again. . . .

  1. Heather says:

Tony and I talk about not changing the mistakes of out past, too, since in a way they helped land us here.
I’m sure you’ll be remembered with love.

  2. Kathy says:

I love your answer about not changing any part of you–or you wouldn’t be the Carol you are. This feels like there is a lot of self-confidence and love in you, so of course you’ll be remembered for that.

  3. I couldn’t say it any better than Heather and Kathy. It is a treat to get to know you better, Carol.

  4. Cee Neuner says:

Carol, you have wonderful answers again this week. You are so talented!

  5. Colleen Lloyd says:

Carol, I so appreciate your thoughts on not changing yourself. And being at peace with our ripple effect.

I'd love to hear from you!
