This week, The Daily Post photo challenge is one I can get into immediately. I knew exactly what picture(s) I would use for this one without my standard hemming and hawing and trying to figure out what to do.
What can be seen through the tunnel is not so easy to see with this photo, so I’ll cheat a bit and provide you a closer up view:
The man who designed this road, whose name I do not recall, designed in so that you can see Mount Rushmore through four different tunnels. Pretty amazing, I think!

Perfect second pic…
Great one, well, two!
That is amazing. Very interesting.
Perfect! I’ve been there, but don’t remember a whole lot about it
I like the 2nd photo. Keep it up!
Beautiful, as always, Carol!
Great!
love your take on theme and pictures are great…;)

Marvelous entry!
I’ve been to Mt. Rushmore, but I didn’t know about the tunnels framing the view. Thanks for sharing!
Cool beans!

Very interesting, did not know about this.
Haven’t been there since I was a kid, and I don’t remember tunnels…but this is very cool!
Wow! I just love that first shot, then combined with the second shot, this is an interesting post. Great job.
I really enjoy finding a natural frame to bring a subject into focus. Fun facts about the intentional design of the roads and tunnels. Great post!
This post brought back memories from childhood, Carol. Great job with the photos! Thank you.
